NPCS:

• Grand Sorcerer Ozor. The one who started it all. They've been dead for a while. Jackie Chan PB because I said so.
  
  
• Endana Chriki. Grand Sorcerer Ozor's great-great-great-great-great-great Granddaughter. General badass and genius, she's very into the magical side of things. She keeps the Book going and makes sure everything is running in order. Currently the most powerful Sorcerer in Istoria. Doesn't take shit from anyone but also has a very kind heart.
  
  
• Jake Siegler. Endana's Assistant! He handles most of the interaction with the Visitors, including getting them settled, helping out with any questions, mediating; whatever you need, he's there. He's like the RA of every college dorm ever. Friendly, dorky, generally all around good guy. He just wants to help keep Istoria running. Loves math and science and magic!!! Literally the guy who is so perfect that you want to hate him but just can't bring yourself to do so because he really is That Nice.
  
  
• The Council. IDK details to be worked out later for those interested in political power McGillis, but there's gotta be some sort of other ruling party than Endana.
  
  
• The Darkness. The reason for the Book in the first place. Where did they come from? Where did they go? Where did they come from, Cotteneyed Joe? Anyway, I'm sure we can work this into plot or an event later.

World Details:

• The City of Istoria - the only still-still standing city in this world. Protected from the Darkness by a barrier powered by the Book, it provides safety for its people. It's a modern-ish setting with advanced technology. Generally prosperous, its citizens go about their daily lives within the City, never venturing further than the barrier because being immediately swallowed up by Darkness and destroyed really doesn't sound too great. The list of places in Istoria is below, with more to be added as needed.
